Key safety items

  • Staff screening: All instructors undergo background checks and references; at least one staff on site holds valid first-aid/CPR.

  • Ratios & supervision: Maximum 8–10 students per instructor (varies by age/module).

  • Pick-up/drop-off: Authorized pickup list; ID check on first pickup. Late-pickup policy explained.

  • Medical & emergency: Individual medical forms required; staff trained on basic medical response and emergency evacuation.

  • Device policy & internet safety: Devices provided or BYOD policy described; safe browsing, web filters, supervision during online activities.

  • Data & privacy: Student data collected only for program delivery; no training of external models on private student data without explicit consent; photos/videos taken only with parental permission.

  • COVID & illness policy: Symptom checks, stay-home when sick policy, enhanced cleaning between sessions (adjust per local guidance).

  • Bullying & inclusion: Zero tolerance for bullying; inclusion statement and accommodation process.
